Police in Kentucky have identified the body of a man who was knocked off a bridge into the Ohio River after his car stalled.
Covington Police Capt. Teal Nally said the victim was 42-year-old Abdoulaye Yattara of Cincinnati.
Yattara was trying to push his car across the bridge at about 7 a.m. on Friday when a good Samaritan stopped to help. Yattara walked to the passenger's side of the car to talk to the driver, but a minivan hit the second car, knocking Yattara into the water 80 feet below.
Crews searched an area west of the bridge in about 20 to 30 feet of water.
Boone/Kenton Water Rescue Capt. Dale Appel said conditions were rough and visibility low. The body was located at about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday.
