Northern Kentucky authorities searching for a man who was knocked off a bridge into the Ohio River say they have recovered a body.
Covington Police Capt. Teal Nally tells WCPO-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio, that search crews removed the body from the river about 5 a.m. Saturday.
Police have not yet identified the body.
Authorities say the missing man's car ran out of gas on the Brent Spence Bridge and he was knocked into river early Friday. Nally said the man was pushing his car along the bridge when another vehicle pulled up behind him to assist.
The stranded man walked to the passenger side to talk to the driver when a van careened into the second vehicle and knocked the man off the bridge.
