Five killed in Alaska small plane crash - officials

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Reuters) - A small plane crashed on Friday on railroad tracks in an Anchorage suburb, killing all five people aboard, city officials said.

The plane crashed at about 10:15 a.m. near Birchwood, a suburb about 20 miles north of downtown Anchorage, said Marlene Lammers, spokeswoman for the Anchorage Police Department.
