Jury begins deliberations in circus family feud

A feud in the family behind the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus is in the hands of a federal jury.

After an 11-day trial, the eight-member jury began deliberations Monday in the $110 million assault case against circus owner Kenneth Feld. The suit was brought by his sister, former gossip columnist Karen Feld, who says his security guards seriously injured her when they forcibly removed her from their late aunt's 2007 memorial service.

Kenneth Feld has filed a counterclaim saying his sister trespassed and ruined the service by yelling obscenities.

Karen Feld says she was in the midst of a seizure and not responsible for what she said. But her brother has argued she's trying to make an excuse for bad behavior.
