Prosecutors presenting case at Blagojevich retrial

Prosecutors haven't yet said who the next witness will be in the corruption retrial for Rod Blagojevich.

The last witness Tuesday was an IRS agent who spoke about how the ousted Illinois governor slipped deeper into debt during his last years as governor. Testimony continues Wednesday.

Prosecutors so far have focused on the most serious charge against Blagojevich _ that he tried to sell or trade President Barack Obama's vacated U.S. Senate seat. Blagojevich has denied any wrongdoing.

Witnesses have testified that a cash-strapped Blagojevich was intent on securing a high-paying government or private sector job in exchange for appointing Obama's preferred candidate.

Blagojevich can be heard on secret FBI recordings yelling that he feels stuck in his job as governor and wants to flee and make money.
