Maryland authorities say a woman accused of killing her co-worker inside a yoga clothing shop in Bethesda has been indicted on a charge of murder.
Prosecutors say a Montgomery County grand jury indicted 28-year-old Brittany Norwood on Thursday. Officials say Norwood faces up to life in prison if convicted.
Police have already charged Norwood with murder in the March death of 30-year-old Jayna Murray, a co-worker at a Lululemon Athletica store. The indictment moves the case to the Montgomery County Circuit Court, where major felony crimes are tried.
Authorities say Norwood spun an elaborate ruse meant to convince them that she and Murray had been attacked inside the shop.
