At least one person hoping to save a local post office will be able to do it by writing a letter.
The cash-strapped Postal Service has been seeking to close many smaller, local offices across the country. Folks hoping to save them can take their case to the independent Postal Regulatory Commission.
But commission rules call for material to be filed online.
The commission voted Tuesday to make an exception for Juanita Clark of Fort Smith, Ark., who asked for the waiver because she doesn't have a computer.
