Authorities say a Phoenix-bound US Airways flight made an emergency landing in Las Vegas on Sunday after an engine malfunction.
Airport spokesman Glenn Gardner tells the Las Vegas Sun that a 737 from Reno, Nev., landed safely at McCarran International Airport at about 10:30 a.m. Gardner says one of the plane's engines had gone down.
The cause of the malfunction is under investigation.
The flight had about 90 people on board, and Gardner says no one was injured.
U.S. Airways officials say the passengers were to be placed on other flights to Phoenix.
