In an April 10 story about efforts to mine tar sands in Utah for petroleum, The Associated Press reported that a hearing on a challenge to the project mounted by the Moab, Utah-based environmental group Living Rivers was set for May 25. The story should have made clear that the hearing will be before the state Division of Oil, Gas & Mining over an appeal of the agency's approval of the project filed by Living Rivers, not the group's separate challenge of the project's approval by Utah Division of Water Quality.
