PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Gunfire at a party in a Philadelphia suburb left one person dead and eight people wounded, authorities said on Saturday.
The shooting occurred just before midnight on Friday in Chester, Pennsylvania, about 15 miles outside Philadelphia.
Authorities said they have a suspect in custody, according to a police statement, but did not release further details.
According to Chester Police, two shooting victims were in critical condition, six others were in stable condition at a local hospital and one victim died.
Local media reported the shooting took place at a teenage birthday party being held in a rented space.
