Most of 19 people accused of taking part in a series of sexual assaults against an 11-year-old girl in southeast Texas are set to appear in court.
Court records show all 14 of the adults charged in the case are scheduled to appear in court Monday. Five juvenile boys have also been arrested. Most of the suspects have previously appeared in court.
Since February, police have arrested individuals ranging from a middle-school student to a 27-year-old, accusing them of sexually assaulting the girl on at least four occasions starting in September in the town of Cleveland.
Cleveland has about 8,000 residents and is about 40 miles northeast of Houston.
