The following recalls have been announced:

KAWASAKI BACKPACK BLOWERS

DETAILS: Gasoline-Powered Backpack Blowers sold under the Kawasaki brand name and recalled by Kawasaki Motor Corp. U.S.A., of Irvine, Calif. They were sold by authorized service dealers nationwide from August 2008 through February 2011.

WHY: The gasoline tank can split and leak fuel, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

INCIDENTS: No incidents or injuries have been reported.

HOW MANY: About 3,400 in the United States and 100 in Canada.

MARUYAMA BACKPACK BLOWERS, MISTER DUSTERS

DETAILS: Gasoline-Powered Backpack Blowers and Mister Dusters sold under the Maruyama brand name and recalled by Maruyama U.S. Inc., of Denton, Texas. They were sold by authorized service dealers nationwide from April 2008 through December 2010.

WHY: The gasoline tank can split and leak fuel, posing a fire hazard.

INCIDENTS: Maruyama has received 25 reports of leaking tanks. No injuries have been reported.

HOW MANY: About 18,000 in the U.S. and 750 in Canada.

KASHI SOUTHWEST STYLE CHICKEN PRODUCTS

DETAILS: Kashi Southwest-style chicken products

WHY: The packages may instead contain Kashi chicken pasta pomodoro, which contains an undeclared allergen, egg.

INCIDENTS: There have been no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

HOW MANY: About 4,500 packages shipped nationwide.
