Fire officials say a blaze in a Brooklyn apartment building has injured 11 civilians, two of them seriously.
The New York City Fire department press office says firefighters received the call at 5:12 a.m. Sunday about a fire in a four-story apartment on 61st Street in Brooklyn.
The fire is burning throughout the building.
The office says 11 civilians have been injured and two of them are in serious condition.
There is no report of any firefighters hurt.
No other information was immediately available.
