The following recalls have been announced:

WINE OPENERS

DETAILS: Wine bottle openers distributed by Sunbeam Products Inc., of Boca Raton, Fla., and sold by QVC from November 2010 through December 2010.

WHY: The wine bottles can break when opened with the recalled opener, posing a laceration hazard.

INCIDENTS: Sunbeam has received 52 reports of wine bottles breaking while the opener was being used on them. That includes 22 reports of injuries.

BAJA MOTORSPORTS DIRT BIKES

DETAILS: Dirt Bikes imported by Baja Inc., doing business as Baja Motorsports of Anderson, S.C., sold at Pep Boys stores nationwide from December 2010 to January 2011.

WHY: Fuel can leak from the fuel tank, posing a fire and burn hazard.

INCIDENTS: Six reports of fires from leaking fuel including one report of minor burns. No injuries reported.

HALLOWEEN COSTUMES

DETAILS: Little Pet Vet costumes and Dr. Littles costumes imported by Fun World, Inc. a division of Easter Unlimited, Inc. of Carle Place, N.Y. and sold at novelty stores, costume and party supply stores nationwide from August 2010 to October 2010.

WHY: The costume's toy stethoscope accessory has plastic ear pieces at the end of the stethoscope that can be pulled off, posing a choking hazard to young children.

INCIDENTS: None reported.
