School officials in West Wendover, Nevada say a suspect is in custody in the death of a 16-year-old girl whose body was found in a shallow grave in a remote desert area near the Utah border.
The name of the West Wendover High School senior who was arrested early Monday has not been released. But vice principal Craig Kyllonen tells KSL-TV in Salt Lake City that he was a classmate who knew Micaela "Mickey" Costanzo and that the two had dated at one time.
Costanzo disappeared after track practice at the high school on Thursday. Sheriff's found the shallow grave Saturday and recovered the body Sunday about five miles west of West Wendover.
