Three men have been found guilty in the fatal beating of a 22-year-old man outside a Boston nightclub.
Twenty-three-year-old Anthony Villalobos of Revere, 24-year-old Daniel Elk of Lynn and 30-year-old Johan Garcia of Lynn were convicted Monday of involuntary manslaughter and assault charges. They had come from a friend's funeral when the attack occurred.
The verdict in Suffolk Superior Court came more than three weeks after a fourth man pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
They were among more than a dozen men clad in tuxedos and red vests outside a nightclub in August 2009. Jose Alicea of Boston died of head injuries two days after a conversation escalated into a fight.
Sentencing is set for March 14 and April 1.
Four other men will go on trial in March.
