Three men involved in a Massachusetts gun fair where an 8-year-old boy accidentally killed himself with an Uzi are scheduled to stand trial in two weeks.
Edward Fleury (FLOO'-ree), Carl Guiffre (JIFF'-ree) and Domenico Spano have pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the October 2008 death of Christopher Bizilj (bah-SEEL').
Authorities say the Ashford, Conn., boy shot himself after he lost control of a small machine gun while firing it at the Westfield gun show.
Fleury owned the company that organized the event. Prosecutors say Guiffre and Spano brought the Uzi there.
A hearing Tuesday in Hampden Superior Court was continued to Monday because Spano's attorney was handling a murder trial and Guiffre was in surgery after a motorcycle accident.
The trial is scheduled to start Nov. 10.
