Judge in Ohio turns down anti-abortion group bid

A federal judge has turned down an anti-abortion group's attempt to block an Ohio congressman from moving forward with a complaint over its plans to put up a billboard criticizing him.

Monday's ruling will allow the Ohio Elections Commission to hear the case later this week.

The commission already has said there's probable cause that the billboard targeting U.S. Rep. Steve Driehaus (DREE'-hows) includes false statements.

The Susan B. Anthony List's proposed billboard says Driehaus voted for taxpayer-funded abortion by supporting the new health care law.

Driehaus is a first-term Democrat from Cincinnati and is a top Republican target this fall. He says the group's claim isn't true.
