Drug-addicted women in Cleveland are seeking treatment in greater numbers after the discovery of 11 decomposing bodies in a sex offender's home more than a month ago.

The United Way says calls from women trying to get into drug treatment programs were up 36 percent last month compared to the same time last year.

Police believe 50-year-old Anthony Sowell lured women addicted to drugs or alcohol into his Cleveland home and attacked them.

Sowell has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to aggravated murder charges. If convicted, he could face the death penalty.

Forty-year-old Denise Gaines says she was motivated to sober up after seeing framed photographs of the victims. She says her picture could have been in one of those frames.
