CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (Reuters) - Space shuttle Discovery touched down at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Wednesday, ending the 39th and final mission of the world's most-traveled spaceship.

Discovery, which completed a cargo resupply and construction mission to the International Space Station, is the first of U.S. space agency NASA's three spaceships being retired.
