WASHINGTON (Reuters) - White House Chief of Staff John Kelly became fully aware of allegations of domestic abuse against former aide Rob Porter on Wednesday, White House spokesman Raj Shah said on Thursday.

"He became fully aware about these allegations yesterday," Shah told a regular news briefing. Porter, who served as White House staff secretary, resigned on Wednesday after two ex-wives accused him of domestic abuse.
