Senate roll call on changing rules on Supreme Court picks

WASHINGTON (AP) — The 52-48 roll call Thursday by which the Senate invoked the "nuclear option," eliminating the 60-vote filibuster requirement on Supreme Court nominees and replacing it with a simple majority in the 100-member Senate.

A "yes" vote is a vote to keep the 60-vote threshold.

Voting yes were 46 Democrats, 0 Republicans and 2 independents.

Voting no were 0 Democrats and 52 Republicans.
