Brazil prosecutor mulls probe into whether Temer pressured ex-minister

BRASILIA (Reuters) - Brazil's public prosecutor is studying a possible investigation into whether President Michel Temer put pressure on a former minister in alleged graft case, a spokeswoman for his office said on Friday.

Marcelo Calero, who resigned last week as culture minister, told federal police that the president put pressure on him to resolve a dispute with a cabinet colleague who was seeking a permit for an apartment building in a historic preservation are of his hometown, a federal police source said.
