SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A Northern California district attorney's office plans to announce the results of an investigation of several police officers implicated in a sex scandal involving the teenage daughter of a dispatcher.
The Contra Costa County District Attorney's office has scheduled a news conference for 11 a.m. Friday. The office provided no further details and didn't return phone calls seeking additional comment.
The 19-year-old woman has filed legal actions against several Northern California cities and police departments, saying she was sexually exploited by more than two dozen officers while she worked as a prostitute. The cities have yet to respond to the claims, which are precursors to lawsuits.
