WARSAW (Reuters) - Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo said on Wednesday she had dismissed Finance Minister Pawel Szalamacha, saying a government reshuffle was needed to make her cabinet's wide-reaching economic stimulus plan more effective.
"We have a development plan," Szydlo told a news conference. "It's time for action."
Economy Minister Mateusz Morawiecki would take over Szalamacha's responsibilities, she said.
