ALBANY, Ga. (AP) — Two men have been sentenced to federal prison for bribing public officials at a Georgia military base.

Federal prosecutors say Ivan Dwight Brannan of Jupiter, Florida, was sentenced to serve four years and to forfeit $120,000. David R. Nelson of Lucedale, Mississippi, was sentenced to two years and must pay a $10,000 fine. Both sentences are to be followed by three years supervised release.

Brannan was an agent and Nelson a driver for a national trucking company. Prosecutors say from 2006 to 2012, the two paid at least $120,000 in bribes to two officials at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany to secure freight-hauling business.

Prosecutors say the two officials pleaded guilty and are also serving prison sentences.
