Germany asks Opel for more information in emissions probe

BERLIN (Reuters) - German officials have asked representatives from General Motors' Opel division to provide them with more information to help with their investigations into carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) from its cars, Transport Minister Alexander Dobrindt said.

"The situation is that we have given the Opel representatives 14 days to provide us with the appropriate technical information," Dobrindt said after meeting Opel representatives on Wednesday.
