South Korea says to fine Nissan over manipulation of emissions data

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea's environment ministry said on Monday that it plans to fine Nissan Motors <7201.T> 330 million won ($279,920) after finding that the Japanese automaker manipulated emissions tests on its Qashqai model.

The government said in a statement that it also plans to file a complaint with prosecutors against the head of Nissan Motor's South Korean operations, adding that it will order a recall of 814 Qashqai models.
