TORONTO (Reuters) - A building or a scaffolding has collapsed in Toronto and an unknown number of people are trapped and injured, police in Canada's largest city said on Monday.
Three people have been rescued from beneath the structure and were taken to hospital. The structure was described as both a building and as scaffolding, Toronto police said on Twitter. A canine unit is enroute to search for other survivors, police said.
