MOSCOW (Reuters) - Hunger-striking Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko, who faces up to 25 years in a Russian jail, has started consuming liquids, her lawyer Nikolai Polozov said on his Twitter page on Thursday.

Savchenko, who was captured by pro-Moscow rebels in June 2014, is charged with complicity in the killing of two Russian television journalists during fighting between Ukrainian government troops and separatists in eastern Ukraine. She has denied wrongdoing.
