No criminal charges in jail death of NY mother arrested for shoplifting: source

NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York's attorney general will recommend that no criminal charges be brought in the jail death of a New York woman who died after being arrested for shoplifting food, source familiar with the investigation.

The New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman will hold a 1 p.m. press conference to announce the findings of a seven-month investigation by his office into the July 27 death of Raynette Turner, 42, in a Westchester County jail cell.
