JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli police on Friday killed an Arab citizen wanted over a Jan. 1 shooting rampage in Tel Aviv, ending a week-long manhunt, a security source said.

Israeli media said that Nashat Melhem was shot dead at a mosque in a northern Arab town where he was hiding from authorities. Relatives had identified him from CCTV footage of the Tel Aviv incident, where he was accused of killing three people in an attack whose motive remains unclear.
