(Reuters) - A former scouting director of the St. Louis Cardinals will plead guilty on Friday to criminal charges in connection with a breach of the computer network of baseball team the Houston Astros, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The newspaper cited unnamed people familiar with the case. Chris Correa was fired by the Cardinals last year and tentatively agreed to plead guilty to 5 of 12 related charges, the WSJ said.
