Dessert will consist of poppy seed bread and butter pudding served with Meyer lemon lychee sorbet.
Chef Anita Lo was invited to help White House chefs create dishes that highlight American cuisine with nuances of Chinese flavors.
Lo is the Chinese-American chef-owner of a restaurant in New York's Greenwich Village.
Roses will decorate the East Room where hundreds of guests will sit down for dinner with President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle and Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan (puhng LEE'-yoo-en)
Grammy Award-winning singer, composer and actor Ne-Yo will provide the after-dinner entertainment.
