ANKARA (Reuters) - Two ministers from Turkey's pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) quit their posts in the interim government, the party said on Tuesday, in what may be a sign of growing tension between the pro-Kurdish opposition and the ruling AK Party.

The resignations come before the Nov. 1. snap election and amidst an upsurge of violence between security forces and Kurdish militants.

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will appoint replacements as soon as possible, his ministry said.
