ATHENS (Reuters) - Greece's conservative New Democracy party polled 27.5 percent and the leftist Syriza party 27 percent ahead of Sunday's general election, a poll by Pulse for Action 24 TV showed.

Tuesday's poll was the first that took account of voter reactions to a head-to-head debate between the parties' leaders Vangelis Meimarakis and Alexis Tsipras on Monday night, having been collated on Monday and Tuesday.
