DUBAI (Reuters) - Two Red Cross aid workers were shot dead in the northern Yemeni province of Amran by unknown gunmen on Wednesday, a spokesman for the international aid group said.

"Two of our colleagues were shot and killed in their car ...as they were traveling back ...to Sanaa," Adnan Hizam said by telephone from the Yemeni capital.
