BEIRUT (Reuters) - Organizers of a protest campaign against the Lebanese government called for a fresh demonstration on Saturday, after two days of rallies that turned violent in central Beirut.
The "You Stink" campaign has mobilized around the government's failure to deal with collecting trash. Scores of people have been wounded during clashes between police and demonstrators.
Organizers at a televised news conference on Monday did not say where Saturday's protest would take place. The protests have brought thousands onto the streets.
