KAZAN, Russia (Reuters) - Hungary's Katinka Hosszu set a world record for the women’s 200 meters individual medley at the world swimming championships on Monday.

Hosszu’s time of two minutes 6.12 seconds broke the previous mark of 2:06.15 by Ariana Kukors of the United States, set at the world championships in Rome in 2009.
