WASHINGTON/NEW YORK (Reuters) - A Super PAC backing Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush has met its fundraising goal of raking in at least $100 million by the end of June, two sources familiar with the matter said on Thursday.

One Bush donor told Reuters it was his understanding the Right to Rise Super PAC had met its target. A second contributor said Right to Rise had raised more than $100 million and that the PAC would make an announcement soon.

The Super PAC has been waiting for Bush’s presidential campaign to announce its fundraising numbers from the first two weeks after he formally entered the race on June 15.
