WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Obama administration on Wednesday will announce it has reached an agreement with Cuba to reopen embassies and restore diplomatic relations severed more than five decades ago, a senior U.S. official said on Tuesday.

The official said President Barack Obama, in Washington, and Secretary of State John Kerry, in Vienna for Iran nuclear talks, would both address the issue on Wednesday. Another U.S. official also said the White House would disclose the timing for the formal reopening of the U.S. Embassy in Havana.
