JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Two Israeli civilians were shot and wounded in the occupied West Bank on Friday in an attack apparently carried out by a Palestinian gunman, police and the military said.
The attack took place near the Jewish settlement of Dolev in the central West Bank and the two wounded men were treated at the scene before being taken to a hospital.
An ambulance service spokesman said one of the wounded was in serious condition and was ferried by helicopter to a hospital near Tel Aviv and the other, who suffered lighter wounds, was taken by ambulance.
A police spokesman said Israeli security forces were scouring the area for the gunman.
