New Jersey man charged with conspiracy to provide support to Islamic State

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A New Jersey man has been charged with conspiracy to provide material support to the Islamic State militant group, the U.S. Justice Department said on Thursday.

Samuel Rahamin Topaz, 21, of Fort Lee, New Jersey, was arrested at his home on Wednesday, prosecutors said.

He is charged with conspiring with others in New Jersey and New York to provide services and personnel to Islamic State, the department said in a statement.
