TORONTO (Reuters) - Justin Bieber has pleaded guilty to assault and careless driving charges in connection with a collision near his Ontario hometown, Canadian media reported on Thursday.

The reports said the singer received an absolute discharge on the assault charge and a C$750 ($600.00) fine for the careless driving charge.

The pop star was charged in September with assault and dangerous driving after the incident.

Representatives for Bieber could not immediately be reached for comment.
