Kerry to meet senior Chinese leaders in Beijing: U.S. State Department

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Beijing to meet with Chinese senior leaders on May 16 and 17 about the upcoming Strategic and Economic Dialogue and Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to the United States this fall, the State Department said on Monday.

Kerry will then visit Seoul to discuss a range of issues with South Korean President Park Geun-hye and the country's foreign minister, including Park's approaching visit to the United States, according to a statement.

After visiting Asia, Kerry will deliver remarks on trade policy in Seattle on May 19, the State Department said.
