BOGOTA (Reuters) - Colombia's President Juan Manuel Santos lifted a halt on bombing raids against FARC rebels after an attack he blamed on the group killed ten soldiers in rural southwestern Cauca province.

Santos, speaking in Cali, said that the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) had broken a four-month-old ceasefire declared by the Marxist group. He urged a rapid end five decades of war that has killed more than 220,000 people.
