New York City reaches labor deal with police sergeants union: mayor

NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York City has reached a labor contract agreement with the Sergeants Benevolent Association, whose members serve in the nation's largest police force, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on Thursday.

"They have an exceedingly difficult job," de Blasio said of the sergeants working.
