BEAVER CREEK, Colorado (Reuters) - Austria's Hannes Reichelt turned his experience into a gold medal in the world championship men's Super-G on Thursday.

Reichelt, winner of a World Cup Super-G on the same Birds of Prey course in December, clocked a winning time of one minute, 15.68 seconds down the sun-kissed layout, according to provisional results.

Unheralded Canadian Dustin Cook was second and Frenchman Adrien Theaux third.
