BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Belgian prosecutors said on Wednesday that police made another arrest linked to the raids on Islamist militants returned from Syria, whom they suspect of planning terrorist attacks in Belgium.
Prosecutors said they were holding a total of four people in connection with last Thursday's raid on an apartment in Verviers in east Belgium and were also waiting for the extradition of a fifth suspect held by Greek police.
Three people were also arrested at Charleroi airport suspected of planning to go to Syria to fight alongside militants in the country's civil war.
Prosecutors added the two men killed by police in Thursday's raid were a Belgian and Moroccan national born in 1988 and a Belgian national born in 1991.
