LA Galaxy beat Revolution for record fifth MLS title

CARSON, California (Reuters) - The LA Galaxy won a record fifth Major League Soccer title with a 2-1 extra-time victory over the New England Revolution on Sunday.

Irish striker Robbie Keane scored the decisive goal in the second period of extra time. New England have now lost all five of their appearances in the championship-deciding MLS Cup.
